WHY SEND US AN REQUEST?
By sending us a request, we can give you the answers you are wondering. Based on the information you submit, we can tell you which tattoo artist is best for you, how much time we will need and an approx price. Quick, easy and completely non-binding. So what are you waiting for?
There are mainly three things we need to know from you so that we can give you the answers you are wondering about.
REFERENCE IMAGES
When we ask for reference images in the requests, the intention is not for us to copy the image, but for it to give us a better understanding of what you like - whether it's the style or the inspiration behind the tattoo.
These images give us insight into what you are looking for and help us match you with the right tattoo artist. We have several tattoo artists who specialize in different styles, which is why it is important that we get inspiration photos in your request. You can easily take screenshots from Google, Instagram Or Pinterest, for example. One or two photos are usually enough, but you are welcome to send more if you wish.
HOW BIG DO YOU WANT IT?
You don't have to provide exact measurements, but an approximate size in the request gives us a reference point for the tattoo.
If you have nothing to measure against, you can use, for example, a snuff box, which has a diameter of 7 cm, or the palm of your hand, which is usually about 20 x 10 cm.
Providing us with an approximate size helps us understand the scope of the work. It gives us an indication of how much time we need to allocate for the tattoo.
We take into account the entire process, which includes the design process, determining the exact size, creating the stencil, placement on the body, preparation of the workstation, the actual tattooing process, wrapping the tattoo, aftercare guidance, payment transactions, cleaning and tidying up the workstation, as well as payment.
So even if you’ve submitted a request for a small tattoo that might only take a few minutes to create, a significant amount of time is still spent on preparations, the actual tattooing, and aftercare.
It’s important to understand that you are paying for the tattoo as a whole, not just for the stated time.
BODY PLACEMENT
In the request, we also ask where on the body you want the tattoo. This is because certain areas can be more challenging and take longer to work on.
For example, the ribs – this is an area that can be more expensive to tattoo as it takes longer. When the stencil is applied, the arms are positioned straight down, ensuring the design looks correct when the arms are at rest. However, when you raise your arms, you’ll notice the entire design stretches and becomes larger. This means the stencil expands, which adds to the time required.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
When it comes to tattoo pricing, the cost is influenced by several factors as previously mentioned. The reception team evaluates all the information in your request, including images, size, and placement, to provide an estimate of the price.
The reception team cannot provide a fixed price, only an estimate based on the information we receive. Only the tattoo artist can give you a final price.
Based on your request, we can quickly answer your questions: who is best for the job, how much time we’ll need, and an estimate.
It’s important that you are open about any budgets, as this helps us tailor the design and provide you with the tattoo you want within your financial limits. We are here to give you the best tattoo experience possible.
CAN I CHOOSE MY ARTIST?
You are welcome to include the name of your preferred artist in your request. If your desired design doesn’t entirely match the style of that artist, we will inform you of this in our response to your request.
