Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book and appointment?
In order for us to help you further, please send us a request HERE. Based on that information, we will be able to assist you with the choice of artist and how long you have to book, and if you need to have a consultation first.
How old must I be to get tattooed?
You must be 18 years old. Even with parents’ approval, we’re not tattooing anyone under 18.
What does a tattoo cost?
It’s completely individual from the design, size, artist and position on the body. The more details a tattoo has the longer the tattoo will take to make. Location as for example the ribs will take longer because of a very stretchy area, and therefore also cost more than anywhere else on the body.
How can I get a price estimate?
You can get this by submitting your request to us. The reception can then give an approximate price, but it is the artist who sets the price of the work they perform. In case of changes in the design, size and location, the estimate will not apply. If you are unsure, always ask your artist.
What is the minimum price?
Our artists have a minimum price of 1500,-
Apprenticeships have a minimumprice of 900,-
Do you sell gift cards?
We sell gift cards only in the studio.

What does a consultation cost?
A consultation talk for 30 minutes with a tattoo artist is free of charge. If you want a custom draft on a design, the artist will charge a prepayment for this.
Do you tattoo on fingers?
Yes, we do, but be aware that places like hands, fingers, feet, knees and elbows are areas that usually don’t heal well, and rarely ends up looking good. There is no satisfaction guarantee
on these places.
How should I prepare for my tattoo session?
We recommend that you eat well before you come in, and remember to stay hydrated. If you start to feel woozy, have a soda. Sugar is your friend in this situation. It’s best not to party the
night before because alcohol can increase bleeding for up to 24 hours. Blood also dilutes our pigments, affecting both the appearance of your tattoo as well as the healing process.
Can you make a design for me?
We can do this after a consultation with one of our artists.
I have gotten an infection / inflammation, what should I do?
Consult a pharmacy and follow their recommendations. If you are in pain, always seek medical advice from your doctor.
Some parts of my tattoo has fallen off, what do I do?
Take a picture of your tattoo, send an email to post@attitude.no with the date of the appointment and by which artist.
Does getting a tattoo hurt?
YES! Receiving a tattoo is a painful process. It requires the application of pigment under the first epidermal layer of the skin. The larger the tattoo the longer it will take to
do, so small tattoos hurt less than large ones! But remember, people wouldn’t get a second tattoo if the first one hurt that bad.
What is the best time of year to get a tattoo?
Although you can get a tattoo any time of the year, your skin gets a lot more abuse during the summer with bathing and tanning. Autumn, winter and spring are really the best seasons to
get a tattoo.
How long should I wait to go swimming after a new tattoo?
Until the tattoo is fully healed, the area is vulnerable to bacterias found in all kinds of water. Waiting a minimum of 3-4 weeks to go swimming reduces the risk of irritation and infection, but if the tattoo has not completely healed, it is necessary to clean the area thoroughly after swimming.
Is it ok to get a tattoo if I’m sick?
Getting a tattoo when your immune system isn’t at 100% isn’t a good idea. You’re going to need your strength to heal your tattoo, something your body won’t be able to do if it’s already doing
battle against virus and bacteria. Not to mention the fact that it’s very inconsiderate to bring your illness into the tattoo studio and risk passing the germs onto others, particularly your artist. If you have an appointment, call and reschedule for a later time.
